I managed to get my hands on the McCall’s M7838 shirt pattern – I loved the various sleeve options, and the lovely pleated ‘B’ option sleeve put me in mind of a modernised Victorian shirt. I’d picked up a light, natural coloured linen that I thought would make up quite nicely, but I wanted to make a few changes to the pattern to add some interesting detailing. A myriad of little tucks fit the bill nicely.
