By Those who have watched some of my other videos will know that a little rainbow lorikeet named Lori will often “help” me with my sewing. Well, one year when I was making my hubby a lorikeet themed Christmas card, I came across a picture of a crocheted lorikeet. On showing it to said husband, he expressed some interest in it.
And so, the idea of the 12 Days of Lorikeet Christmas was born. Each day for the 12 days of Christmas I crocheted him a new rainbow lorikeet (often while seated in front of a cricket match), and we had great fun photographing them in appropriate settings.
